Vice President, Strategic Accounts
Jim Nolte is vice president, strategic accounts, for AGL Networks. In his role, Mr. Nolte leads new market development in addition to setting the direction of the strategic account segment at Networks. He manages a team that is responsible for developing new opportunities that enhance the long-term value of the business.
Prior to being named to his current position, Mr. Nolte served as director of wholesale sales while focusing on strategic accounts for AGL Networks. He was responsible for developing relationships and new business opportunities with key customers.
Mr. Nolte has 25 years of sales and business development experience in the telecommunications sector. He spent 12 years with AT&T in sales and in sales management roles; three years with BellSouth in business development for the BellSouth.net division; and three years with ICG Communications, where he oversaw the company’s southeast sales division.
Mr. Nolte holds a master of business administration from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business in Atlanta and sits on the Charlotte Chamber Board of Advisors.
